Calls for Artwork

While it may depend on each show, our parameters for artwork are open to include painting, photography, 3-dimensional work, fiber art and textiles, sculpture, pottery and ceramics, and others. If you have any questions regarding accommodations for your work, please inquire here. All artwork that is intended to be displayed on a wall must be ready to hang. 

Yes! We encourage artists of all levels of experience to apply. 

Because there is an artist agreement involved, we require our artists to be 18 or older. 

We do accept art from artists outside of the Kansas City area, however it is the artist's responsibility to deliver the piece to the Gallery and pay for shipping to return anything not sold at the end of the show. If you have more questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

Each exhibition will be on display for roughly 3 weeks so we can allow for a week of transition between each month. Specific details for drop-off and pick-up will be given to you via email. 

To apply to be a showing artist, you can fill out the submission form by clicking on the button under Open Calls for Artwork at the top of this page. You will also need to supply photos or digital copies of your artwork for us to share in the shop and on social media.

Opening receptions are held on the 3rd Friday of every month from 5:00 - 7:00 PM CST. Specific details will be released on our website, social media, and through our e-newsletter. 

Absolutely! You're more than welcome to invite your friends and family to come and see your artwork. 

Yes, please do! All we ask if that you tag @80santafe if you're sharing on Facebook and Instagram. We will do our best to tag and share your information in our social media content as well. 

Yes! Most artwork displayed in our gallery is available for purchase. Buyers may shop here or in person. If you would prefer to show your work without selling in the gallery or on our website, please let us know in your application.
